Meanwhile, critics from the so-called “global community” always have plenty to say when America shows strength or confidence. They whine about arrogance. That’s rich, coming from the same international snobs who depend on us to bail them out at every turn—from defense to disaster relief. It’s almost as if they’re jealous that the American spirit still scares the weaklings who’d rather see us apologize than lead.

You know it’s a good day in this country when liberals are triggered by a simple display of American joy. Maybe they should try celebrating America’s strength for a change—just once.
