Newsom mocked Georgia voters with tone deaf speech and bizarre SAT confession in latest blunder

Gavin Newsom is desperately trying to sell himself as “one of the people,” but over the weekend in Georgia, he managed to insult his entire audience. Standing in front of hardworking Black voters, Newsom tried to pander—claiming he’s “just like them” because he couldn’t score high on the SAT and apparently can’t even read a speech. This is peak Democrat arrogance, wrapped in a fake apology tour.

This is the same so-called leader whose big claim to fame is locking down California while he partied mask-free at French Laundry. The same man who bankrupted small businesses, kept churches closed, and even filled public skate parks with sand so kids couldn’t play outside. But now, he’s trying to convince voters in Georgia that he’s “relatable” because he supposedly can’t read from a teleprompter? Give us a break.

Let’s not ignore the ugly implication here. When Newsom told his audience he’s “like them” because he can’t read a speech and barely managed a passing SAT score, he wasn’t just making fun of himself—he basically called his audience stupid. It’s just another version of the classic liberal “I feel your pain” line, but this time it goes straight for the insult. It’s almost as tone-deaf as when Joe Biden once suggested “poor kids” couldn’t be as smart as white kids.

Even celebrities are calling him out. Nicki Minaj—hardly a conservative firebrand—highlighted the bizarre way Newsom slowed down his speech, as if talking to a room full of children. If that’s not pure, patronizing elitism, what is? It’s obvious Newsom doesn’t see voters as equals. He talks down to them and expects them to thank him for it.

This is the real face of Democrat leadership: out-of-touch, condescending, and proud of their own mediocrity. Newsom’s 2028 campaign is practically writing itself—imagine the ads. A man who can’t read speeches, who brags about low test scores, and who thinks every American is as incompetent as he is. That’s who the radical left wants in charge?

With California falling apart under his watch, it’s clear the last thing America needs is another condescending, failed governor in the White House. When will Democrats stop insulting the intelligence of the American people—and when will voters finally say, “enough is enough?”
