President Trump has once again shown real leadership by doing what liberals refuse to do: he’s honoring American families destroyed by illegal alien crime. By declaring February 22 as “Angel Family Day,” Trump is shining a spotlight on the pain and loss caused by a border crisis Democrats pretend doesn’t exist. These so-called “Angel Families” aren’t just statistics. They are mothers, fathers, and children whose loved ones were stolen by criminals who never should have been here in the first place.
Of course, the open borders crowd in Washington can’t stand this kind of attention. They’d rather push their endless amnesty schemes, pretending that every illegal border crosser is a model citizen just working for the American Dream. But here’s the truth: every crime committed by someone here illegally is a preventable tragedy, and the blood is on the hands of the politicians who allowed it. The left wants to erase these victims from the conversation—Trump wants us to remember them.
While progressives cheer for sanctuary cities and choke on the word “illegal,” law-abiding citizens keep paying the price. Angel Families are forced to pick up the pieces while the media shrugs. Liberal politicians, so obsessed with virtue signaling and globalist approval, never ask about the American kids lost to drunk drivers or violent criminals who slipped right through a porous border. For them, “compassion” means endless benefits for lawbreakers and empty condolences for real Americans.
Let’s not pretend the corporate elites and globalists care, either. Cheap labor keeps their profits up, and a broken system keeps their power intact. The only ones losing are middle-class Americans and the families torn apart by preventable crimes. President Trump’s declaration is a blow to this corrupt status quo. For one day, the stories of Angel Families take center stage instead of being buried by the liberal media’s propaganda machine.
If Democrats truly cared about American families, they’d stand with Trump on strong borders and justice for victims. Instead, they mock, ignore, or silence those who suffer most. Why are our leaders more worried about protecting illegal aliens than their own citizens? Maybe it’s time to ask the tough questions—and demand answers that put Americans first, not last.
