The Biden Department of Justice is finally doing its job—at least for one day. After years of watching left-wing activists tie up the courts with endless lawsuits against anything that dares threaten their toxic agenda, suddenly the government seems to remember it’s supposed to enforce real laws, not just attack conservatives. Now, the DOJ is targeting the University of California in a major lawsuit over antisemitism at UCLA. This is a wake-up call, and it’s long overdue.
Let’s not pretend this came out of nowhere. For years, universities in California have allowed radicalism to run wild. Instead of nurturing real debate, they’ve fostered an atmosphere where attacking Jews—often under the fake banner of “activism”—hurt real people. The left loves to talk about “tolerance,” but as soon as it comes to protecting Jewish students, they all go silent. It’s hypocrisy at its worst.
Where was all this high-minded outrage when Jewish students at UCLA were facing real discrimination? Administrators were too busy pushing woke nonsense, bowing to the mob, and protecting globalist interests. Their priorities are upside down. Instead of cracking down on campus hate, they were happy to chase after pronoun policies and safe spaces, pretending that solved anything. This is what happens when self-appointed elites ignore core American values and cave to identity politics.
The left wants everyone to believe they’re the champions of civil rights. They wield accusations of bigotry as a club, swinging at anyone who dares disagree. But when proof of antisemitism shows up on their own turf, in their precious “diverse” universities, they clam up. The truth is, the left’s obsession with victimhood and intersectional nonsense only protects their chosen groups, while leaving others—like Jews—out in the cold.
The Department of Justice’s lawsuit against UC is a rare moment of accountability. Maybe, just maybe, this will send a message to every spineless administrator and radical activist: You don’t get a free pass to trample on basic civil rights just because you wrap yourself in progressive slogans. Are we finally seeing a little justice for all students, or is this just a fluke in an otherwise broken system?
