California keeps sinking deeper into crazy, left-wing madness. Now, Governor Gavin Newsom is handing out pardons to convicted criminals, and the Church is cheering him on. Newsom recently pardoned a man who tried to commit murder—yes, you read that right—just to make sure ICE couldn’t deport him.
Is this what California thinks is justice? A violent criminal gets a golden ticket to stay, all because Catholic leaders think they know better than our immigration laws. Instead of siding with the victims or the law-abiding citizens, the governor is working overtime to protect someone who’s already proven he’s dangerous. If you’re illegal and violent in California, you’re basically VIP.
This is what happens when so-called “progressive” politicians let their globalist friends whisper in their ears. Law and order goes out the window, and the safety of regular Americans doesn’t matter. The left would rather bow to radical activists and open-borders groups than support real justice. Leaders like Newsom seem more interested in making headlines than keeping people safe.
Where’s the outrage from the same liberals who love lecturing everyone about “gun violence” and “public safety”? Suddenly those talking points don’t matter when there’s a chance to score points against ICE. It’s clear their so-called compassion only goes one way—never for the honest, working Americans who have to live with these reckless decisions.
Gavin Newsom has chosen criminals over citizens, and the Church is helping him do it. How much longer will Californians put up with leaders who treat the rule of law like an afterthought? Maybe the real question is: when will common sense make a comeback on the Left Coast?
