Biden showers billions on Southern states for green energy while families brace for higher bills

The Biden administration just announced a jaw-dropping $26.5 billion loan to Alabama and Georgia to prop up electric power facilities. That’s right—the folks who can’t balance a checkbook are now handing out tens of billions like it’s candy. The so-called experts claim this will lower energy costs and create thousands of jobs. Forgive me for not holding my breath.

D.C. bureaucrats promise cheaper electricity, but we all know how those promises usually turn out. Just look at California, where leftist energy policies have driven up prices and threatened blackouts year after year. Now, the same Washington insiders want us to believe they’ll make things better for hardworking families in the South? Sounds like the same old swamp game—big talk, little results.

The liberals in charge love to virtue-signal about “green energy,” but their schemes always benefit globalist cronies while everyday Americans get left behind. Instead of supporting our own oil, gas, and coal workers, the Energy Department would rather throw taxpayer money at projects that pad special interests and environmental radicals. Conservatives have been sounding the alarm for years, warning that these disasters lead to lost jobs and higher bills.

Georgia and Alabama deserve real solutions, not empty boasts and government dependence. If the Biden crowd truly cared about our energy needs, they would unleash America’s full potential with more pipelines, domestic drilling, and reliable fossil fuels. Instead, they hand out blank checks and pretend it’s progress. How many times have Americans been sold this same broken promise?

It’s time to ask—who really wins here? American workers and families, or the elite decision-makers in D.C. who never pay the price for their own failed policies? Maybe the real electricity we need isn’t from government loans, but from a jolt of common sense that puts America first again.
