Democrats caught sleeping and picking teeth during State of the Union disaster

Once again, Democrats proved just how little respect they have for America and our time. While President Trump delivered one of the most important speeches of the year, some of these out-of-touch representatives decided it was nap time. That’s right, on live TV, Americans watched as multiple Democrats dozed off, heads drooping and eyes closed, right in the middle of the State of the Union address. It was almost as if they were intentionally channeling the lackluster energy of their own leader, Sleepy Joe.

It’s honestly hard to believe—the world is watching, the country faces serious challenges, and Democrats can’t even stay awake through a speech. How can anyone trust these people to make decisions about our kids’ futures, our country’s security, or our hard-earned dollars when they can’t even pay attention for one hour? This wasn’t a hidden camera moment—the entire nation saw it. These are grown adults paid by taxpayers to serve, and they can’t even muster up the basic respect to stay awake while the President lays out his vision.

Worse yet, the clown show didn’t end with some light snoring. Nope, one genius decided to go fishing for leftovers in his teeth after his mid-speech snooze. On camera. At the State of the Union. If they aren’t embarrassed, they should be. It’s like they think the rules don’t apply to them, whether it’s falling asleep, making a mess, or ignoring the real needs of the American people.

This is the same party that lectures everyone about “democracy” and “accountability,” yet they can’t even represent themselves with an ounce of dignity. Instead of fighting for American workers and families, they’re sleepwalking through their jobs and showing the world just how unserious they are. Maybe if the President’s speech had been about appeasing China, or how to get rich off more bureaucratic nonsense, they would’ve stayed alert.

We deserve leaders with backbone, not children who nod off and pick their teeth on live TV. The only thing Democrats managed to pay attention to last night was their own laziness. Is this the best America can do? Or is it just what we’ve come to expect from a party more interested in napping than leading?
