It’s become all too obvious: the modern Democratic Party is not just out of touch but completely out of courage. During President Trump’s recent State of the Union address, the American people got to witness it with their own eyes — Democrats glued to their seats, refusing even the most basic gestures of respect for their own country’s achievements. But what the television cameras didn’t capture is even more telling. From the inside, it was clear that their “resistance” isn’t just about policy differences; it’s about fear. Fear of their own party’s radical fringe. Fear of standing for anything remotely common sense.
While President Trump rattled off a historic list of wins — policies that clearly put American citizens first — Democrat lawmakers couldn’t even muster the courage to clap. Some awkwardly, half-heartedly tapped their hands together, but before making any real move, they glanced side to side, searching for permission from the rest of their clique. It’s pathetic. Instead of standing tall as independent leaders, they waited to see if their fellow leftists approved. Their eyes darted around the chamber like schoolchildren afraid of breaking the rules.
This is the party that claims to “stand up” for the little guy? Please. They were too afraid to applaud real American heroes. When President Trump introduced guests who had sacrificed for this country, many Democrats sat stiff, offering only delayed or tepid applause — like they needed to check with the far-left activists before recognizing bravery. Apparently, siding with hard-working Americans is now a dangerous move if you’re a Democrat. They’re more worried about upsetting the socialist Twitter mob than honoring the people who built and defended this nation.
Democrats aren’t just opponents of the President — they’re professional obstructionists who care more about hating Trump than loving America. Their supposed “convictions” are nothing but a hollow act, propped up by whatever the loudest radicals demand. The left loves to pretend they’re principled defenders of democracy, but when push comes to shove, they’d rather take orders from party bosses and open-border globalists than do what’s right for their own constituents.
Is it any wonder why ordinary Americans are fed up with these weak-kneed politicians? The Democratic Party has traded its backbone for groupthink and fear. They might unite in their hatred for President Trump, but they’ll never stand up for America if it means risking the wrath of their far-left masters. The real question is: how much more of this gutless behavior will voters put up with? Maybe it’s finally time we demand more from the people who claim to lead.
