The Department of Justice has finally woken up to what conservatives have been warning about for years: left-wing universities are hotbeds of hate, not tolerance. Now the DOJ’s Civil Rights division is suing UCLA. Why? Because apparently, UCLA decided to look the other way while Jewish professors were attacked on their own campus in 2024. Imagine that—professors, just trying to go to class in Royce Hall, getting assaulted simply because of who they are.
What did the university do? As usual—nothing. This is what happens when you let radical activists run wild on campus and treat every leftist cause as gospel. The so-called “progressive” leaders at these colleges are always preaching about diversity, but when it comes to protecting Jewish faculty or standing up to true bigotry, they go silent. Or worse, they make excuses. It’s hypocrisy at its worst.
The trouble didn’t end with attacks. Swastikas—yes, literal Nazi symbols—showed up as graffiti on buildings around UCLA. Shouldn’t that have been a wake-up call? Apparently not. Administrators moved as slow as molasses, if at all. It’s no wonder Jewish Americans are starting to fear college campuses as much as the parents already fed up with woke indoctrination in public schools.
This is the result of years of catering to the loudest, most radical voices instead of upholding law and order. When you let anti-American activists and globalist sympathizers steer your campus climate, this is what you get: intimidation, violence, and hate symbols. Instead of building a safe space for all, these universities are creating environments where only the “right” group-think is allowed—everyone else is a target.
So here’s the biggest question: Why did it take the federal government to step in before UCLA took antisemitism seriously? The answer is simple. The left has lost control of its own movement. These schools care more about their woke reputations and keeping leftist donors happy than about basic decency or American values. UCLA officials should be ashamed, but don’t expect apologies anytime soon. Maybe now, after their golden idols have failed, the world might notice what conservatives have seen all along: The true intolerance festers where progressives hold power.
