The victory sent the usual suspects on the Left into meltdown. Instead of celebrating with the rest of the country, they obsessed over the team’s joy at representing America and having the nerve to appreciate their president—yes, President Trump. That’s right, the gold medal champs weren’t shy about loving the U.S.A., even as liberal pundits whined that they didn’t use their moment to grandstand against the president. News flash: athletes who win for America don’t owe the woke mob anything.
It wasn’t just a win in Italy—it was a win for America at home, too. President Trump invited these champions to the White House, where they basked in real leadership and even joined him for the State of the Union.
