Gavin Newsom has been flirting with a presidential run for months, but it looks like his hopes may be finished before they even started. Why? Because the Democrat machine’s favorite weapon—calling everyone a racist—just got turned against one of their own. It turns out, when you play with fire, eventually you’re the one who gets burned.
Cornel West, that liberal loudmouth who loves tossing labels around like confetti, has now accused Newsom of being tangled up with the two words Democrats fear most: white supremacy. That’s right—one of their own has slapped him with the same ugly charge Democrats throw at their opponents every day. The crowd that loves crying wolf is suddenly facing their own howling monster right at their doorstep.
This is what happens when you create a political culture based on calling everyone and everything racist. Sooner or later, the mob runs out of conservatives to accuse and turns on itself. And it couldn’t be happening to a more deserving group. Don’t forget, Newsom is the governor of California—the same state where crime is out of control, homelessness is everywhere, and small business owners are fleeing in droves. If that’s progressive leadership, Americans should be begging for the opposite.
Democrat elites have no problem labeling hardworking conservatives as racists, bigots, and worse. But when one of their own is accused, they act shocked and hurt, whining about unfairness. Give me a break. They love playing identity politics when it suits them, but now the chickens are coming home to roost. Even the globalist media puppets are scrambling to sweep this embarrassment under the rug.
If Gavin Newsom can be called a white supremacist, is there anyone the Left won’t eat alive in their constant game of outrage? Or is the whole party just a circular firing squad waiting to happen?
