Richard Axel, a Nobel Prize-winning neuroscientist at Columbia University, now admits it was a massive blunder to associate with Jeffrey Epstein — the infamous predator who bankrolled and buddy-buddied with America’s wealthiest and most so-called “educated.” Axel isn’t just any professor. He’s a bigwig in the liberal Ivy League, a Nobel laureate, and a proud member of the globalist academic club. Yet we’re supposed to believe that following the Epstein money trail was a simple “mistake?”
Nobody should be surprised. For years, the liberal ivory towers have operated under their own set of rules. These are the same people who demand everyone else follow woke nonsense, but when it’s about their rich pals or secret connections, suddenly the rules vanish. Columbia University loves to lecture Middle America about morality, but look under the hood — and you find the stench of corruption and hypocrisy.
Axel’s belated regret is just a sad attempt to cover up the truth. Did he really not know what Epstein was up to? Or did he just not care, since the money and the prestige kept rolling in? Too many in these fancy institutions were happy to cash Epstein’s checks, while ordinary Americans struggled. Once again, it’s the elites getting richer while ignoring real suffering — and pretending to be untouchable.
Let’s talk about real accountability. If a conservative professor had so much as shaken hands with somebody like Epstein, the entire media circus would demand immediate execution — at least in the court of public opinion. But when it’s a woke darling from a left-wing college, the establishment rallies around, mumbling about “errors in judgment” instead of demanding investigations. It’s not just a double standard — it’s outright contempt for common sense.
This is the ugly fruit of globalist interests running rampant across American universities. The left claims to fight for the underdog, but they’re always first in line when a billionaire creep like Epstein comes to buy off integrity. Maybe it’s time regular Americans finally stopped listening to lectures from the academic elite — and started asking who else amongst these self-proclaimed moral authorities has skeletons rattling around in their closets. How many more secrets do these so-called “intellectual giants” think they can hide from the rest of us?
