NYC erupts as leftist leaders spark mob attacks on police during snowstorm

The anti-police mob came out in full force this week, fueled by the reckless words of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Instead of calming tensions, Mamdani’s anti-cop rhetoric has done nothing but ignite hate against the brave men and women who protect our streets. During Monday’s snowstorm, it went beyond ugly talk — a group of thugs took it upon themselves to pelt NYPD officers with snowballs. Some may shrug off snowballs as harmless, but it’s the message behind the attack that matters: disrespect for authority, egged on by leftist city leadership.

This isn’t just about a cold prank. When city leaders paint the police as villains, chaos follows. Liberals like Mamdani preach about “reform,” but all they’re doing is undermining our police. When cops can’t even walk the streets in peace during a snowstorm, what hope is there for regular families? This is what so-called “progress” looks like — law enforcement getting targeted while politicians shrug it off or, worse, fan the flames.

This anti-cop movement doesn’t come out of nowhere. It’s a direct result of the radical messaging that comes from City Hall and their globalist pals in the media. They blame the badge for all society’s problems instead of taking responsibility for their own failures. Crime soars, respect plummets, and criminals are emboldened. All the while, the working American gets left behind, trapped in cities that care more about woke ideology than safety.

Anyone claiming this is just kids having fun is ignoring the bigger issue. Small attacks grow into bigger ones. If we let it slide when mobs attack the police with snowballs, what’s next? Bricks? Firebombs? When leftists teach people to hate the police, this is the ugly result. It’s open season on the very people who keep order.

Mamdani and his circle should be ashamed. Their “defund the police” games have made our cities a playground for mobs and anarchists. Maybe that’s what they want — chaos and disorder, so they can keep pushing their anti-American agenda. At this point, the question isn’t whether liberal leaders have lost control. The real question is: Was this their plan all along?
