Schumer shows why Democrats put politics before American safety

Chuck Schumer just gave America a perfect picture of what’s wrong with today’s Democrat Party. At a time when the President of the United States called on Congress to stand for protecting Americans, Schumer and his fellow Democrats refused—even bragging about their defiance. According to Schumer, it was not only legitimate, but “right” for Democrats to remain seated when the President spoke about keeping our country safe. Apparently, the left believes political spite is more important than American lives.

Is it any wonder trust in the Democratic Party is hitting rock bottom? Their priorities are clearer than ever: open borders, lawlessness, and putting America last. Standing for the safety and sovereignty of our citizens used to be an easy, bipartisan idea. Now, thanks to Schumer’s so-called “leadership,” Democrats wear their anti-American agenda like a badge of honor. They want applause for refusing to stand up for the very people who put them in office.

This isn’t just about posturing at the State of the Union. It’s about a party so blinded by its hatred for a Republican president, they can’t even pretend to care about your safety. Their globalist dreams are more important than protecting American families from real threats right here at home. Instead of joining hands to fight crime and defend our borders, Democrats sit on their hands and revel in their own obstruction.

Schumer’s proud moment was a show of pure hypocrisy. These are the same Democrats who rush to defend every woke cause, meddle in foreign affairs, and demand “unity”—unless the President tries to unite us around the bedrock principle of protecting our own people. Their message to the world is loud and clear: Democratic loyalty is to their ideology, not to American citizens.

So ask yourself: When did standing for the American people become something to sneer at? Maybe Schumer and his elite pals should try listening to the millions of hard-working Americans who want leaders that put us first—not their pride, not their party, and certainly not globalist pressure. If Democrats refuse to stand with us, why should voters ever stand with them?
