That’s right, even after these heartbreaking losses, our leaders still can’t get their act together to protect Americans in the skies.
Liberals are already tripping over themselves to make excuses. They push endless regulations when it fits their agenda, but suddenly stall real safety reforms when they’d actually make a difference. If the woke crowd had their way, Congress would pass bloated, globalist bills that waste billions on climate change “research,” but when it comes time to save actual lives with practical measures, they turn into cowards or obstructionists.
Congress has no problem rubber-stamping spending sprees for foreign wars or pet projects back home. But bipartisan action to prevent deadly aviation disasters? Somehow, that’s up for debate. The bill only needed a handful more votes to pass, but Democrats and their establishment pals let Americans down once again.
How many more lives will it take for lawmakers to admit their priorities are upside down? Our troops risk everything for this country, and passengers entrust their safety to our aviation system. Yet when push comes to shove, elites in D.C. would rather squabble over pork and optics than step up with common-sense solutions.
