Once again, Donald Trump dares to say what everyone else is thinking. At the State of the Union, he aimed right at one of the swamp’s favorite games—the outrageous stock trades by Nancy Pelosi’s family. While Trump demanded action to rein in shady congressional stock deals, Pelosi’s notorious blender of politics and profit was impossible to ignore.
People are fed up with elitist politicians who get rich while America suffers. Pelosi and her husband have built up a mountain of wealth through “perfectly timed” trades, all while telling hardworking families to tighten their belts. The hypocrisy is as thick as it gets. It’s one rule for the liberal elite, another for the rest of us. These leftist insiders act shocked when voters get angry, but they keep cashing in behind our backs.
Trump didn’t tiptoe around the truth. He called out the open secret: Pelosi’s family has been winning big on Wall Street for years while she pushes radical policies that destroy American jobs. How is it possible that so many Democrats find their portfolios booming when the rest of us are scraping by? Maybe Congress should ban stock trading outright for these lawmakers—since “self-regulation” clearly means looking the other way if you’re a Democrat.
The liberal establishment pretends to care about fairness, but their actions scream otherwise. Pelosi is just one glaring example of global players who use government for personal gain. They push socialist ideas for us while making themselves richer and richer. And yet, whenever someone like Trump holds their feet to the fire, the left whines about “political decorum.” Give us a break.
Americans want a government that works for the people, not a cabal of smug insiders laughing all the way to the bank. So why do so many liberals keep defending this nonsense? Maybe they’re hoping to get their own hand in the cookie jar next. Until politicians like Pelosi have to play by the same rules as the rest of us, don’t believe a word they say about “justice” or “equity.” If the left spent half as much time protecting American families as they do protecting their Wall Street windfalls, this country would be a whole lot better off.
