Trump Forces Big Tech to Pay Up for AI and Liberals Are Losing It

Once again, Donald Trump is leading where the so-called “experts” in Washington never even bother to look. During his State of the Union address, Trump announced that major tech companies will finally take responsibility and cover the huge costs of the data centers needed to power artificial intelligence. This is a win for everyday Americans, who have watched Big Tech rake in billions while expecting taxpayers to endlessly foot the bill.

For years, the left and the global elites have bent over backward for Silicon Valley. They let these companies get fat on subsidies, while dumping the hidden costs on hardworking Americans. These data centers suck up massive amounts of energy and resources, driving up costs for everyone else. But the Democrats wouldn’t dare make their billionaire buddies pay their fair share—instead, they’re too busy pushing their green pipe dreams and endless regulation.

It’s high time Big Tech starts picking up the tab for the toys they want to play with. The explosion of AI isn’t some public good cooked up for the benefit of the average citizen; it’s a profit goldmine for the tech giants. Liberals may cry about fairness, but what’s fair about making American families pay for the expansion of companies that already censor their voices and spit on their values?

Of course, the media is already spinning this as something risky or controversial. They would rather see America bend the knee to globalist interests and Silicon Valley monopolies. But Trump’s deal flips the script, forcing these powerful companies to stop leeching off of the rest of us and start investing back into the country that made them rich in the first place.

Liberals will whine, lobbyists will howl, and the tech titans will grumble. But tough luck. The days of endless handouts and sweetheart deals are over. If tech companies want to profit from AI, it’s about time they pay the bill instead of the American taxpayer. Funny how when real leadership steps up, suddenly the left starts to remember what accountability looks like.
