Vice President Vance declares war on welfare scams after years of government negligence

Washington is finally waking up to a problem that’s been bleeding Americans dry for years. Vice President J.D. Vance is stepping up to launch a real war on public welfare fraud—something liberals and their globalist buddies have been too afraid, or too incompetent, to tackle. The Biden years sent taxpayer money flying out the door to anyone and everyone, no questions asked. It turns out, many of those hands weren’t just needy Americans, but whole networks of fraudsters laughing all the way to the bank.

Take Minneapolis, for example. High-profile stories have been pouring out lately about large-scale welfare scams, especially linked to the Somali expat community. We’re not talking a few isolated cases—this is abuse on an industrial scale, orchestrated by people who saw that America’s soft-on-crime Democrats care more about signaling “inclusiveness” than protecting hardworking families. While ordinary Americans worked two jobs and pinched pennies, opportunists set up schemes that drained millions from public funds.

Liberal politicians spent years acting like any talk of welfare fraud was racist or heartless. That gave cover for crooks to exploit the system right under everyone’s nose. Meanwhile, left-wing media and “woke” activists tried to shout down anyone sounding the alarm, calling them bigots for demanding basic accountability. Now, the evidence is too glaring to ignore—but don’t expect a single apology. They never apologize for their failures, because they’re too busy cooking up new ways to redistribute your money to their favored voting blocs and special interests.

That kind of thinking has to end. It’s about time the government actually enforced the law, instead of handing out cash and hoping for the best. With the Justice and Treasury departments finally roped in, maybe those days are over. But don’t kid yourself—the same elites who let this abuse fester will cry foul every step of the way. They’ll protect their political projects and say anyone demanding integrity is “attacking immigrants.” Enough. America welcomes honest, hardworking people from all over the world. What we won’t stand for are grifters who see our welfare system as their ticket to easy street, and cowardly politicians who let it happen.

It’s time to stop making excuses. With Vance at the helm, maybe, just maybe, someone in Washington will have the courage to take these criminals on. Is it controversial to want the government to spend our money on Americans in need, instead of letting globalist con artists rob us blind? Or is that just good old-fashioned common sense?
