Democrats Refused to Stand for Americans at the State of the Union and the Internet Is Furious

Last night’s State of the Union put the Democrats’ true priorities on full display. When President Trump called on Congress to stand up for American citizens before illegal immigrants, the difference between the parties was crystal clear. Republicans had no problem rising to their feet—they know who they work for. The Democrats? They just sat there, stone-faced, sending a message loud and clear to every American family: you are not their priority.

This moment wasn’t some complicated political game. It was a simple test—will you protect your own citizens, or will you keep bowing to the radical open-border crowd that’s taken over your party? Democrats failed spectacularly. Either they’re so blinded by their hatred of Trump that they won’t clap for common sense, or they just flat-out believe America comes second to everyone else. Pick your poison, but both are poison for this country.

Democrat leaders and their progressive followers love to talk about “values” and “morals.” But when the cameras are on, and all they have to do is stand up for the people who put them in office, they freeze. It’s more important to them to signal their rebellion against Trump than to show loyalty to struggling citizens in our own country. Meanwhile, the flood of illegal immigrants continues, jobs are lost, and safety takes a back seat—all while Democrats refuse to even rise from their seats.

Let’s not kid ourselves. That footage of Democrats glued to their chairs as Republicans cheered for Americans is going to be campaign ad gold. Every working-class voter, every law-abiding citizen should remember that snapshot on Election Day. When given the chance, Democrats chose virtue-signaling over patriotism. They chose political theater over actual leadership.

Why do liberals always find a way to show their contempt for the heart of this nation? They claim to “represent” the people—until it’s inconvenient. At this point, Americans have to ask: who are Democrats really fighting for? Because last night, it sure wasn’t the people who call this country home.
