It’s official: the house of cards at LAUSD is crumbling—and it’s about time. Superintendent Alberto Carvalho is dodging accountability after a federal corruption probe landed right at his front door. This wasn’t some routine investigation. The FBI raided his own home. What more does it take to show California’s liberal education machine is rotten to its core?
For years, left-wing bureaucrats like Carvalho have been lecturing parents, dodging real classroom problems, and raking in taxpayer dollars. All that virtue-signaling about transparency and “the children” has now been exposed for what it truly is: nothing but hot air. Liberals love to talk about equity, but suddenly go silent when one of their own gets caught up in a scandal of this size.
Let’s not forget, under Carvalho’s so-called “leadership,” LA public schools have gotten worse, not better. Graduation rates may look good on paper, but test scores and discipline are in the gutter. The district spent more time pushing leftist propaganda than teaching kids how to read and add. Parents begged for answers, but all they got was more spin and empty promises from the top.
Now the chickens have come home to roost. When the feds show up with warrants in hand, people notice. But will those in charge admit they failed? Of course not. Expect the same excuses—blame “the system,” blame “miscommunication,” blame anyone except the elites who run this disaster. Ironically, this is the exact kind of corruption and arrogance we see in blue cities everywhere, from New York to San Francisco.
Alberto Carvalho must step down. Not later. Not after the next board meeting. Right now. If LAUSD or the state of California has an ounce of integrity left, they’ll stop letting corrupt, out-of-touch globalists run the show. Are Americans supposed to just look the other way—again—while liberals protect their own and our kids pay the price?
