Once again, an activist federal judge has decided that Americans don’t get to control who gets dumped inside our borders. In a move that could only be described as peak liberal insanity, a federal judge struck down a Trump-era policy that finally had the guts to deport illegal immigrants to third countries. The Biden regime has bungled border security so badly that every common sense reform is now met by some bench-warming judge eager to turn America into the world’s homeless shelter.
Let’s be clear: we’re not talking about church choir boys here. This policy was aimed at deporting illegals with final orders of removal—criminals, repeat offenders, people so dangerous or problematic their own home countries won’t take them back. But instead of letting the Department of Homeland Security remove them to somewhere willing to accept them, this judge decided criminals with no right to be here get extra legal handouts. Apparently, the feelings of people who never respected our laws in the first place trump the safety of American citizens. What’s next? A red carpet welcome for MS-13?
The judge even claimed that it’s somehow unfair to send illegal immigrants to another country unless they personally announce their fears about being deported. So now, bureaucrats are supposed to hold everyone’s hand and ask if they’re scared while trying to enforce the law? Never mind that the policy required officials to make sure these folks wouldn’t face persecution or torture. No, leftist judges would rather leave loopholes so dangerous people can stick around and soak up taxpayer dollars.
The hypocrisy from the open-borders crowd is staggering. When it comes to sending American citizens abroad for any reason, the government has no problem—but if an illegal immigrant faces consequence for breaking our laws, suddenly it’s a human rights crisis. The globalist priorities couldn’t be clearer—protect anyone but actual Americans, even if it means that child predators, murderers, and drug traffickers get a shot at freedom right here in the land of the free.
It’s amazing—Democrats love to talk tough about gun violence and safety, but they’re the first to fight policies that would actually remove violent criminals from our streets. Does anyone think federal judges like this one would want these “uniquely barbaric” offenders living next door to their own families? Doubtful. But for the rest of us, apparently it’s just the price of “progress.”
Conservative America has had enough of being told we’re not allowed to defend our own country. If the courts keep siding with foreign lawbreakers over American citizens, maybe it’s time we stop listening. When will the government start caring about Americans first?
