Feds storm Columbia dorm under false pretenses now liberal elites cry foul over their own chaos

Picture this: federal agents from the Department of Homeland Security marching right onto Columbia University’s campus, up to a student dorm. They say they’re looking for a missing person, but Columbia’s own leadership claims these agents weren’t honest about their real purpose. Let that sink in—federal power using tricks or lies to get into a student dorm, all in broad daylight, on an Ivy League campus in the heart of New York City.

This is what happens when our institutions play both sides and lose all moral clarity. The left wants open borders and calls ICE agents fascists—until suddenly their cozy campuses end up in the crosshairs. Now Columbia is complaining that federal agents are being sneaky to arrest one of their students. Maybe if these elite universities demanded law and order instead of inviting chaos, they wouldn’t be surprised by the fallout.

It’s laughable that Columbia, a darling of the progressive globalist crowd, is now crying foul at the feds. For years, they’ve encouraged political activism, undermined American principles, and trampled on free speech—especially if you have the wrong (read: conservative) opinions. But when Washington comes knocking, suddenly the Ivory Tower wants to play victim. Maybe they should ask themselves who created this mess in the first place.

Of course, the Department of Homeland Security is no paragon of virtue under the Biden administration. Weaponizing government overreach seems to be the name of the game—so long as it serves the correct narrative. If this federal muscle was used on a conservative campus or against a pro-life student, the media would cheer it on. But when one of their own feels the heat, the left flips out.

At the end of the day, this is classic liberal hypocrisy. They want to lecture real Americans on how to run the country, but can’t manage basic honesty or accountability in their own backyard. Maybe Columbia and its liberal pals need to learn a lesson: play with lawlessness, and don’t act surprised when it knocks on your door. Since when did lying your way into college become less serious than the feds lying their way into a dorm?
