Americans should be furious right now. Four innocent people are dead in Cuban waters, and yet again, the weak-kneed crowd on the left pretends like it’s all just business as usual. Senator Marco Rubio, unlike the spineless bureaucrats we usually get, is making it clear: The United States isn’t just going to swallow the Castro regime’s story and walk away. Finally, someone is standing up and demanding real answers.
But let’s be honest—does anyone really trust the communist government in Cuba to tell us the truth about what happened? For decades, that regime has lied, oppressed, and hurt its own people. Meanwhile, liberals in Washington keep trying to cozy up with dictators, thinking you can just play nice and the world will respect you. Spoiler alert: they won’t.
What’s even worse, every time a situation like this happens, the left wants to slow-walk any American response. They drone on about “waiting for all the facts.” Ask yourself—would our enemies wait if the roles were reversed? Of course not. They know the current White House is more concerned about upsetting their globalist pals than protecting actual Americans or justice abroad.
Rubio is doing what any real leader should do—making it clear that America will “act accordingly” once the truth comes out, not just accept whatever version the Cuban dictatorship feeds the media. It’s called having a backbone, something missing in DC since the last real conservative President left the Oval Office. The world needs to know there are still Americans who will draw a line in the sand.
How many times do we have to say it? Appeasement is not strength. Let’s see if the Biden administration finally grows a spine, or if it will be another apology tour for America. Do you really trust these liberals to stand up to tyranny, or will we watch them fold yet again?
