It was pure lawlessness dressed up as protest—a disgusting display of disrespect for law and order.

But what did the usual chorus of Left-wing politicians do? First, they told New Yorkers to leave the cops alone, then did a complete flip-flop, suddenly downplaying the violence as innocent fun. Liberals love to rewrite the narrative when their side is caught red-handed. Evidently, the safety of police officers is expendable to them if it helps push their twisted anti-cop agenda.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s socialist regime is turning New York into a playground for criminals. When leftist politicians brush off assaults on police as “just snowballs,” but then clutch their pearls over every imagined microaggression, it shows exactly where their priorities lie. The hypocrisy is breathtaking. They love to screech about hate crimes and demand the harshest penalties if one of their own is targeted, yet shrug their shoulders when cops are battered with frozen projectiles.

Let’s be clear—these weren’t “snowballs.” Photos show massive chunks of snow and ice being hurled, and one suspect even has a history of attempted robbery. This is the kind of chaos the Left keeps unleashing, while the hardworking men and women in blue are left to clean up their mess. NYPD finally made an arrest, sending a message: no more free passes for street thugs hiding behind political theater.

If the radicals running New York believe this is what the city should look like, they better get used to seeing police walk off the job. Who would risk their lives protecting a city where thugs are coddled and every assault gets spun as a joke? That’s the socialist utopia—lawlessness for all, consequences for none.
