He tried to paint himself as just another victim of the system—because, apparently, gross mismanagement and bad ideas aren’t enough for his political resume.

But here’s what really happened: Tommy Pham, a seasoned Major League Baseball player, wasn’t having any of it. Unlike Newsom, Pham knows a thing or two about hard work and earning your way up in life. When he saw Newsom’s desperate attempt to play the victim card, he called it out, loud and clear. Pham’s message? Stop using other people’s real challenges as your political props.

This isn’t the first time Gavin Newsom has tried to use race to distract from his failures. His own state is dealing with soaring crime, out-of-control homelessness, and sky-high taxes. Liberals like Newsom love to talk about race when it suits them. But they never actually do anything for struggling Americans—black, white, or anyone else. They want people divided, desperate, and dependent because it helps them stay in power. They’d rather blame the test than demand real academic standards or strong families. And when someone like Tommy Pham speaks up, suddenly liberals want to tune out the voices that don’t fit their narrative.
