Stephen King, the horror novelist who clearly thinks fiction should be applied to real life, has sunk to a new low with his latest attack on President Trump. In typical leftist fashion, King just tossed reality out the window and declared Trump doesn’t have children—or, for that matter, any “life experience.” It’s as if facts are optional when you’re a member of the liberal celebrity club. Apparently, all it takes to be an “expert” these days is a blue checkmark and an unhinged imagination.
Stephen King—like so many in Hollywood—can’t stand the fact that Trump, a man whose family actually loves him and whose children are accomplished, beat their chosen candidate in 2016. So, this is what they do: ignore basic truths and hope the gullible eat it up. Remember, this is the same crowd that calls conservatives “science deniers,” but here they are, denying the basic existence of living, breathing people.
The liberal playbook has become downright lazy. Instead of pointing to policy, or any real flaw, the left chooses pure fiction. Ignoring Trump’s clear record as a father, businessman, and yes, President, they’d rather spit out talking points written in fantasyland. Maybe King should write a new novel—something about a reality where his own party didn’t ruin American cities, kneel before China, and destroy our border.
Meanwhile, leaders like Gavin Newsom are busy trying to “keep it real” while their own states fall apart. Lawless streets, out-of-control taxes, and skyrocketing homelessness—does anyone truly believe these people have a clue what real American life is? No, liberals like King and his Hollywood pals just play make-believe from their multi-million dollar mansions while the rest of us clean up the mess.
What exactly do these so-called elites offer besides false claims, hate, and smug ignorance? America deserves stronger, more honest leadership, not this endless circus of hypocrisy. Maybe next time, Stephen King should stick to writing horror stories and leave real life to the adults.
