Biden scrambles as US troops exit Iraq State Department insists embassies are safe but is chaos coming

When Americans hear chatter about our embassies in Iraq and Kuwait, it’s no surprise they hold their breath. After years of failed leadership and disastrous foreign policy, who wouldn’t be nervous? The State Department rushed to deny that it approved a mass evacuation from these sites, even as our troops start packing up and leaving Iraq. Sounds suspicious, doesn’t it? If everything is so safe and stable, why even entertain reports of a retreat?

Let’s not kid ourselves—the Biden administration’s State Department has been nothing but weak and confused. Now, with chaos still raging in the Middle East, they scramble to reassure Americans that everything is just dandy at two of our most vulnerable embassies. If history is any guide, empty reassurances are often a sign you need to worry.

For years, liberals and globalists promised us that getting involved in the Middle East would bring peace and stability. Instead, they left us bogged down in endless conflict, with enemies nipping at our heels. Now, as we watch U.S. forces pulling out—again—out of Iraq, are we really supposed to believe the region is locked down and safe for Americans? Only fools would buy what this administration is selling.

Why is the State Department so desperate to squash reports of evacuation? Maybe because admitting the need to leave would reveal how toothless American influence has become under the current leadership. It would prove their tough talk is just hot air, and that American lives are left swinging in the wind whenever things get uncomfortable.

The sad truth is that American power has shrunk on the world stage, and our enemies are watching every bumbling move. If Biden’s crew had spent less time cozying up to globalists and appeasing radicals, maybe we wouldn’t be in this mess at all. When it comes to American safety, are we really willing to trust our embassies—and our lives—to the same crowd who bungled Afghanistan? Not this writer.
