It’s déjà vu in Texas. Every election cycle, the left acts like their path through the Lone Star State is clear, telling anyone who will listen that THIS is the year they turn red soil blue. But this time, Democrats see a Senate seat in their sights—so of course, they’re shipping in millions from Hollywood, New York, and every coastal elite war room they can find. To them, winning in Texas would be a trophy. Not about Texas values—just another notch in their Beltway belt.
Let’s get real. Democrats are pouring cash into a state they barely understand. Their golden hope is Jasmine Crockett, another far-left darling backed by activist donors. Meanwhile, Republicans are weighing their choices. Yes, there’s some hand-wringing about polling, but folks in Texas should remember: the left always overhypes “surging” polls and “historic” chances. They did it in 2018, 2020, and 2022. The GOP base knows this playbook—and Texans rarely fall for it.
Republican leaders are pushing to unite. They want to shore up support around a nominee who actually represents Texan—and American—values, not who will make CNN talking heads happy. The establishment angles for John Cornyn, the safe old hand in Washington, but grassroots voters are tired of cookie-cutter insiders who cozy up to lobbyists and globalists. The base is hungry for candidates who will punch back and put Texas first.
Democrats pretend this is their year every year. The real reason for the hype? They dream of flipping Texas because if they can take down a Senate seat here, they can push their woke, open borders, tax-and-spend agenda at warp speed. They haven’t managed to do it since 1988. But since when did facts or history get in the way of their delusions?
Texans have a choice: let leftists buy their way into office, or double down for the country’s last line of defense. Don’t let Democrats and their media allies decide who represents Texas. When they smell blood, it usually means they’re about to walk into a fight they can’t handle. Has the left learned nothing from their past humiliations in Texas—or do they just like losing?
