FDA Hands Out Bonus Checks to Bureaucrats for Rushed Drug Approvals While Americans Pay the Price

The FDA is at it again, rewarding its own for simply doing the job they’re already paid to do. Now, under this new scheme, government bureaucrats will get bonus checks for finishing drug reviews faster. Forget about whether these rushed approvals will cut corners or risk American lives—the big story here is another backroom deal fattening wallets in Washington.

This is classic liberal thinking. When the private sector rewards hard work, it’s called capitalism. When the government does it, it’s called “reform.” It’s just another way to throw taxpayer dollars at bloated agencies that treat efficiency as a novelty. With so much red tape clogging up the system, the left seems to think bribing public employees is the answer. Maybe they should try holding these people accountable instead.

Ask yourself this: why are these reviews taking so long in the first place? Liberals love endless regulations, paperwork, and bloated committees. When that predictably slows everything down, their solution is to pay government workers even more. It’s no wonder drug prices keep going up and ordinary Americans keep paying the price, both literally and figuratively.

Let’s not forget who benefits most from the FDA’s new plan. Big Pharma and lobbyists with deep pockets—those same globalist powerbrokers who wine and dine bureaucrats—stand to make a killing if reviews get rushed through without real scrutiny. Meanwhile, the average American just wants safe, affordable medicine, not another scheme cooked up by unelected elites who never face the consequences of their failures.

It’s infuriating watching the federal government once again pat itself on the back for a job half done—and then expect us to foot the bill. These are our tax dollars. Instead of fixing broken systems or draining the swamp, they’re adding swamp water. How much incompetence are Americans willing to swallow before demanding real change?
