It looks like Hollywood’s liberal elites are playing musical chairs yet again. Netflix, the darling of woke streaming, just yanked itself out of the bidding war for Warner Bros. Discovery. Apparently, Netflix’s wallet wasn’t big enough—or maybe even they’re starting to realize that these bloated, left-leaning studios aren’t worth the price anymore. This is what happens when you focus more on pushing radical agendas than making good entertainment.
Now the way is clear for Paramount to swoop in and gobble up Warner Bros. Instead of real competition, it’s just the same handful of globalist corporations trading assets like baseball cards. Who benefits? Certainly not middle America, whose values get ignored so Hollywood can keep cranking out anti-family garbage and endless lectures about “diversity.” The people in charge never learn: continued mergers mean more of the same failed formulas, more brainwashing, and even less room for American stories that actually matter.
Warner Bros. Discovery’s board didn’t even blink at Netflix’s offer—they wanted more. Isn’t that just like the liberal establishment? Always demanding more, never satisfied, and always ready to cut deals behind closed doors, while the average viewer gets fed stale reboots and mind-numbing preachiness. Anyone hoping for a fresh voice in Hollywood will have to keep waiting. As usual, the entertainment swamp just circles the wagons and protects its own.
It’s striking that while American families struggle to afford groceries, these media titans are writing checks with more zeros than most of us will see in a lifetime—just to acquire yet another studio. That’s the kind of tone-deaf, out-of-touch behavior we’ve come to expect from the entertainment class. They throw cash around for power plays, not for making content that everyday Americans actually want to watch.
Once again, the leftist media machine keeps churning, merging, and rebranding itself in hopes of holding onto control over what we watch, believe, and think. What will the next mega-merger do? Will it finally wake Hollywood up, or will they just keep making the same mistakes, convinced they know better than the rest of us? Don’t hold your breath.
