Manhattan prosecutors side with snowball attackers shock move leaves NYPD out in the cold

Everyone knows that New York’s radical prosecutors care more about criminals than the police. So it comes as absolutely no shock that when NYPD officers got pummeled with snowballs in Washington Square Park, the big legal brains in Manhattan called it little more than child’s play. Forget the size of the snowballs—these were described as the size of boulders. Forget the fact that officers were there to restore order at a chaotic post-blizzard gathering. The leftists in charge acted just the way conservatives have come to expect: with sheer indifference to law and order.

Let’s be real—if regular New Yorkers tried to throw a snowball at a city bureaucrat or an overpaid public official, they’d be slapped with charges faster than you can say “progressive double standard.” But when it’s the NYPD on the receiving end, suddenly the rules change. Suddenly, violence is “youthful mischief,” and the real criminals become the cops for daring to uphold the law in a city overrun by broken windows and broken promises.

Liberal leadership in New York has made it clear—law enforcement is public enemy number one. The district attorneys want to score points with activists and globalist donors, not protect the men and women in blue. Why bother supporting the police when there’s political capital to be gained by looking the other way? The message is loud and clear: in the left’s America, handcuffs are for cops, not criminals.

Manhattan’s woke prosecutors couldn’t wait to downplay the seriousness of the attack. Never mind that the officers were hit repeatedly. Never mind that the crowd was acting unruly. It’s the classic left-wing playbook—excuse chaos, blame the thin blue line, and claim any attack on police is no big deal. Pretty soon, they’ll be handing out medals to the snowballers and suing the cops for “hurting their feelings.”

This isn’t about snowballs. This is about respect for law and order. When our justice system decides police officers are fair targets, anarchy is just around the corner. How much worse does it have to get before New Yorkers wake up and demand real accountability? Or are we supposed to watch civilization melt away, one snowball at a time?
