Texas just crushed the radical left’s agenda to protect kids from shocking drag shows

At last, a court actually stood up for common sense in America. The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals just handed Texas the green light to protect its kids and communities from the latest twisted crusade of the radical left: drag shows in public spaces, especially where children could be present. Texans have had enough of this circus. Families don’t want to walk down Main Street or take their kids to the library and be ambushed by sexualized performances hiding under the phony banner of “diversity.”

Liberals keep insisting that anything and everything counts as “expression”—even things most parents would never want around their sons and daughters. It’s no surprise the typical crowd of Hollywood busybodies, woke elites, and big-city agitators have been frothing at the mouth, accusing Texas of everything under the sun for daring to stand up for decency. These people care far more about scoring points with globalist activists than about defending American families.

But here’s what matters: Texas lawmakers listened to their people, not the outrage mobs. They took action to protect children and uphold public standards, even as the left screeches about “censorship” and “hate.” Isn’t it funny how the left goes silent when it’s time to discuss the actual content of these shows? They throw insults, but never explain why they think it’s appropriate for minors to witness things most adults find uncomfortable.

For years, conservatives warned that the left’s push to sexualize culture was never going to stop with Hollywood movies or classroom lessons. Now we see drag shows shoved into parades, libraries, and festivals meant for families. When parents stand up, liberals accuse them of bigotry. Meanwhile, all conservatives are saying is: let grown-ups do what they want in private, but keep it away from kids and public spaces. Why is this controversial?

Texas scored one for the silent majority who still care about community standards, parental rights, and good old-fashioned common sense. Maybe it’s time the rest of the country woke up and followed suit. If protecting children from exposure to this madness is “controversial,” then maybe the left should take a good, hard look in the mirror.
