Democrats bet on a Tejano pop star to win Texas as border chaos explodes

Democrats have truly lost their grip in Texas if their latest move is any hint. Instead of talking policy, they’re trotting out a Tejano music star, Bobby Pulido, hoping his celebrity will trick voters in South Texas. Forget strength, leadership, or values. All they need is a Latin Grammy, a slick stage presence, and enough feel-good songs to distract from the border chaos right outside the door.

Let’s get real: Americans are tired of candidates who are famous for being famous. The Left worships celebrity, but that doesn’t solve problems. It distracts voters from rising crime, a wide-open border, and their reckless spending. South Texas families are struggling because of Democrat failures. But what’s the big plan? Hold a concert, wave to some fans at a day care, and pretend everything is fine. If “bread and circuses” worked for the Romans, maybe the Democrats hope Tejano tunes will keep citizens quiet.

It’s insulting, honestly. The Democratic Party acts like Hispanic voters will automatically pick anyone who belts a song in Spanish. It’s clear they’re out of touch with real people and real issues in the Rio Grande Valley. Texans aren’t looking for a show— they want solutions. Instead, they get a candidate who cares more about his next album than defending American jobs, securing our border, or standing up to the globalist agenda hurting their families.

This is classic liberal arrogance. When their open border policies flood communities with crime and drugs, they flash a smile, bring in a music star, and hope everyone forgets. Meanwhile, the hardworking men and women of Texas keep footing the bill for failed Democratic schemes. Do the Democrats really think the American Dream is just catchy lyrics and a campaign jingle? Patriots are losing patience.

The American people deserve leaders who fight for them, not self-promoters and puppets for the leftist elite. Texas knows better. South Texas voters aren’t as naive as Democrat strategists hope. At some point, even catchy Tejano tunes can’t drown out the disasters caused by open borders, Washington incompetence, and liberal hypocrisy. Maybe next time, Democrats can try sending in a real leader—if they can find one.
