Ilhan Omar gets slammed after trying to defend Iran during Ramadan strikes

The left never misses a chance to rush to defend America’s enemies, especially when it comes to Iran. The minute this country dares to stand up to the world’s top sponsor of terrorism, Democrats go into outrage mode. It doesn’t matter that the Iranian regime has American blood on its hands or that our military is finally delivering consequences. For far-left progressives, that just means another excuse to cry “Islamophobia” and blame America first.

Take Ilhan Omar, for example. Every time the United States acts against hostile regimes, she scrambles to make it about race or religion. This time, she played the Ramadan card, trying to accuse our country of purposely targeting Muslims during one of their most sacred observances. Forget the facts—she’s always ready to slander her own adopted home. She ignores reality in favor of scoring woke points with her activist base.

But her propaganda imploded—fast. Even a simple check of history destroys her claim. None of the U.S. wars in the Persian Gulf began during Ramadan. Not one. Dates don’t lie, but the radical left always seems to twist them. As usual, progressives refuse to let the truth get in the way of a good anti-American talking point.

Meanwhile, Operation Epic Fury is underway. Top Iranian leaders are being wiped out and their terror networks are crumbling. No hand-wringing from the Democrat elite when their guy bombed Libya, but now that Iran’s terror masters are getting hit hard, suddenly they’re horrified. Funny how their outrage only shows up when American strength is on display.

It’s time for the left to stop pretending America is the problem. The only thing “sickening” here is watching American lawmakers parrot propaganda straight from Tehran. Maybe Ilhan Omar should worry less about the feelings of Iran’s mullahs and more about the safety of American families. But that would mean putting America first—something the radical left just can’t do. When will these Democrats quit making excuses for tyranny overseas and start standing with their own country?
