The radical Left has finally hit peak insanity, and it’s playing out on Australian streets. Not even three months have passed since ISIS-inspired terrorists killed Jewish Australians on Bondi Beach. Now, shocking videos are making the rounds again—this time, ISIS-linked thugs are hunting down and viciously beating gay teenagers. The footage is stomach-turning. Young men are cornered, punched, stomped, and screamed at for being “infidels” and “gay dogs.” One is forced to beg for mercy while blood pours down his face. All of this, done in the name of Islamic State.
So how do Australia’s so-called progressive leaders react? Typical. Instead of standing up for their own citizens—whether gay, Jewish, or just simply not Muslim—they rush out statements crying about “Islamophobia.” It’s the same pathetic, weak response every time. Actual innocent lives get destroyed, but what really sparks outrage on the Left is anyone daring to criticize Islam. Protecting feelings, not lives—that’s the priority.
Even more embarrassing is how groups claiming to defend gay and trans Australians instantly line up to shield the very people hurting them. “Trans Justice Sydney” and similar activists are bending over backward, insisting we should care more about not offending Islamists than about stopping the beatings and hate. This is the leftist cult of intersectionality eating itself alive. These activists know full well Islamic extremists would throw them off rooftops if they could. But hey, the Left never misses a chance to prove they’re “tolerant”—even if it means throwing gays and Jews under the bus.
This is the truth that liberals won’t face: Their blind obsession with virtue signaling and appeasing every grievance group has turned them into useful idiots for the most intolerant ideology on earth. It used to be progressives fought for free speech and gay rights. Now, they’d rather sacrifice their own people at the altar of wokeness than stand up to Islamic hate. From London to Sydney, the pattern is the same—leftist elites import violence, then tell us to be quiet about it. If you even notice, you’re the problem, not the actual Islamist thugs stalking the streets.
Here’s a reality check for anyone still pretending otherwise: The only thing standing between ordinary Australians (or Americans, or Europeans) and these savages is Western civilization itself. Every time the Left makes excuses, chips away at Western values, or scolds us for “intolerance,” they make it harder for anyone—especially gays, Jews, and women—to live freely. That’s why we’re now seeing gay Europeans flee to right-wing parties for protection. They know who actually defends their right to exist.
The Left can keep cozying up to Islamists and pretending they’re allies. But when the floor doors open and the rooftop drops, let’s see whose side they’ll cry to then. The West must wake up and say enough. Or are these bleeding-heart liberals just that desperate for applause from their new overlords?
