Once again, the activist courts are at it. A federal judge just blocked the Department of Homeland Security from detaining refugees in Minnesota. Forget about national security, forget about the law—the judge’s main concern seems to be feelings. Apparently, checking up on people who come from terrorist hotbeds is now considered a “dystopian nightmare.” Seriously?
What’s truly dystopian is how the Left turns our nation’s safety into a political game. Liberals foam at the mouth to protect strangers from overseas, but when it comes to protecting American families—suddenly, the rules go out the window. This judge talks about America’s “promise” to welcome the world. But what about America’s promise to keep her own citizens safe first? Funny how that’s always missing from their rants.
The same crowd who locks their doors at night and lives in gated communities wants open doors on our national borders. They’re on a crusade to hand over America’s future to anyone who shows up and claims to need “refuge.” They say it’s about compassion, but it always seems to be about pleasing globalist elites and shaming working-class Americans who don’t get a say.
President Trump’s administration tried to re-vet these so-called refugees, just to make sure the system isn’t being abused by criminals or radicals. Instead of supporting this common-sense move, the liberal judge launched into melodrama, calling vetting an attack on “immigrants’ rights.” Let’s be real—the only thing under attack is law and order.
Why are liberals so terrified of even the most basic security checks? Why do Democrat judges side with foreign nationals over Americans every single time? Maybe because they’d rather score virtue points in the media than do their actual job: defending the Constitution and protecting the American people. How many more activist rulings will it take before we stop pretending these judges represent anyone but the radical left?
