Michigan’s Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson, just showed Americans exactly why election integrity is under attack. When asked if illegal immigrants are still on the state’s voter rolls, she danced around the truth and refused to give a straight answer. What is she hiding? If Michigan’s elections are so secure, a real leader would just say it: illegal immigrants are NOT on our rolls. But Benson couldn’t do it. Isn’t that all the evidence anyone needs that Democrats don’t actually care about protecting the vote?
Here’s the reality: non-citizens have been caught voting in Michigan. Not just one, but multiple. Just this year, a man from the Dominican Republic pleaded guilty to casting a ballot in the 2020 elections. Before that, a Chinese national from the University of Michigan was charged with voting illegally in 2024. This is not some right-wing conspiracy theory—these are criminal charges, ignored by the leftist media and shrugged off by liberal politicians. When illegal votes count, the votes of American citizens are diluted. It’s that simple.
While all this is going on, Democrats like Benson are doing everything they can to block real solutions. The SAVE Act, which passed the House, is a common-sense bill. It simply requires voters to prove they are U.S. citizens when they register to vote in federal elections. For most Americans, this is a no-brainer. But Benson—and her political allies like Bernie Sanders and Gavin Newsom—are screaming that proving citizenship is somehow a “trick” to stop women and minorities from voting. What a joke. Only in the upside-down world of the left is citizenship seen as a barrier, not a requirement.
Let’s face the facts: the globalist Democrats want open borders and open elections. They don’t even want to know who is voting. Their excuses are laughable. They claim Americans can’t find a birth certificate or a passport. Yet millions of hardworking men and women manage to prove their identity every day for less important matters. When it comes to the sacred right to vote, the left throws up its hands and says, “It’s just too hard!” This isn’t incompetence—it’s deliberate.
Why should American families trust the promises of politicians who won’t even answer the simplest questions? Benson won’t tell us if illegal immigrants are voting, but she expects blind faith in her “secure” elections. It’s time to shut down these games and demand proof—actual proof—that only American citizens are picking our leaders. Or maybe that’s exactly what the Democrats are afraid of.
