Nancy Mace fights to give child predators the death penalty liberals oppose

There are only a few crimes so evil that society has a duty to punish them with the ultimate penalty. Hurting children is at the top of that list. That’s why Rep. Nancy Mace from South Carolina is finally taking a stand where Washington cowards refuse to tread. She’s pushing a bill that would make sure child rapists can face the death penalty in federal cases. It’s about time someone stood up for the innocent instead of coddling the most depraved monsters among us.

For too long, the left has protected criminals and forgotten about victims. Liberals hand-wring about “rehabilitation,” “mercy,” and “second chances” even for people who destroy a child’s life forever. They obsess over the “rights” of those who commit the worst imaginable acts, all while the actual victims and their families are left to suffer. Enough is enough. If ever there was a crime deserving the harshest justice America can offer, it’s the unspeakable horrors visited on children by predatory adults.

Of course, this commonsense bill is already triggering the usual liberal elites. The activist class wants to tie the hands of lawmakers, insisting that even the most despicable crimes shouldn’t be punished too severely. They’re already moaning that expanding the death penalty could face challenges in the Supreme Court. What a surprise—the left’s favorite trick is running to unelected judges whenever the will of the people clashes with their extremist agenda. They’ll say anything to protect criminals under the false flag of “human rights,” forgetting that justice for children is a basic human right too.

If America can’t defend its own children, then what is government even for? Globalists and woke bureaucrats love to lecture hardworking patriots about how we should be “compassionate” to predators. But real compassion means protecting the defenseless, not letting monsters off easy. While Democrats fawn over criminals with endless chances, this bill draws a line in the sand: cross it, and you pay the ultimate price. That’s what real justice looks like.

Is this the land of the free, or just another playground for those who abuse our most vulnerable? It’s time to stop making excuses and start delivering justice. Rep. Mace understands that. Why don’t the liberals?
