The left loves to scream about “open borders,” but when real victims of socialism try to come to America, suddenly the rules change. Just look at what happened with some Venezuelan families under President Trump. These people, who spent years risking everything fighting real socialism in their home country, thought they found safety here. You would think the liberals would roll out the red carpet for them. But, shocker, even after being admitted, these families got locked up and questioned.
Here’s the real hypocrisy. The left is happy to welcome anyone, no questions asked, as long as they can pad Democrat voting rolls. But if you’re a refugee who actually knows firsthand the horrors of socialism? Expect more red tape — and handcuffs. These Venezuelans stood up against a corrupt, leftist regime only to be treated like criminals when they get to America. That’s not just wrong. It’s disgusting.
Why is this happening? Because the radical left wants to control who gets in. They want refugees who will support their twisted agenda, not ones who might speak truth about the failures of socialism. If these brave families dared to tell their story, it would destroy the left’s whole narrative. That’s the last thing liberals want before an election.
President Trump put America’s safety first. He wanted to make sure no dangerous people slipped through the cracks. But while Trump tries to keep us safe, liberal bureaucrats block people who truly need our help—people who actually love freedom. The elites in Washington don’t care about safety or real refugees. They care about their power and their woke image.
Let’s be clear: America needs to stand against socialism and welcome those who do the same. If you have fought tyranny and long for freedom, this country should be your home. Maybe the left should spend less time virtue signaling and more time listening to people who have actually suffered under socialism. Or are they just afraid the truth might ruin their little utopia?
