Once again, the radical left tried to bully Texas judges into ignoring their conscience—and once again, real leadership shut them down. The Texas Supreme Court’s chief justice has stood his ground, making it crystal clear: refusing to perform same-sex marriages is not a crime. These judges aren’t lawbreakers. They’re standing up for their beliefs, even when the woke mob comes knocking.
The so-called “judicial conduct commission” thought they could push around Texans who value tradition and faith. They made it sound like marriage beliefs held for generations are suddenly dangerous or hateful. That’s liberal hypocrisy at work. When conservatives exercise freedom of religion, the left brands them as villains. But if a progressive judge did something the left liked, you can bet they’d get praise, not punishment.
Since when did following your conscience become a punishable offense in America? That’s the path the global elites want us on: silence the dissenters, erase Christian values, and transform our legal system into another tool of their agenda. Liberals love to scream about “diversity,” but not if it means diverse beliefs in the courthouse.
Let’s not pretend this is about “justice,” either. This is about forcing conservative Texans to bend the knee or lose their jobs. It’s about turning brave men and women of faith into targets, just to score points for the latest leftist cause. Instead of focusing on real crime and corruption, these busybodies chase hardworking judges for standing up for what’s right.
At the end of the day, Texas is a place where people fight for freedom. If the left can’t respect that, maybe it’s time they look in the mirror and ask who’s really violating the law—and who’s just trying to live by it.
