Isn’t it rich? The same Democrats clutching their pearls over masked ICE agents are now the ones who’ve cut the legs out from under the very agency trying to protect Americans. Liberals said it was unfair for those who enforce our laws to cover their faces. So what did they do in their fit of outrage? Slash the budget for the Department of Homeland Security. All because they cared more about the “feelings” of illegal alien criminals than about American safety.
Now, America is living through the consequences. The government is stuck in shutdown, while threats—real threats—from around the world grow stronger every day. But Democrats don’t seem to care. Why would they, when they’ve got an open-border president more interested in winning applause from globalists than in keeping the homeland safe? Instead of stopping criminals, they’re tying the hands of our own law enforcement and inviting every bad actor in the world to walk right in.
Let’s not forget what’s crawling across our borders thanks to these insane open-door policies. Jihadists, violent criminals, perverts, even those who prey on children—the truly sick and dangerous—can disappear easily now that our borders are wide open and weak. Liberals love to talk about “the children.” Well, where are their tears now as innocent child victims get swept under the rug by this reckless agenda?
It’s hypocrisy at its finest. Democrats claim to care about “America’s values,” yet every action shows they care more about optics and foreign approval than the safety of their neighbors. They get offended over an ICE agent’s mask, but have no problem letting known predators blend into American communities. If you’re searching for logic in this circus, good luck.
At the end of the day, this is what you get when you let woke ideologues run your country. American safety sacrificed on the altar of virtue signaling. How many more innocent people have to pay the price before these liberals finally realize how foolish they’ve been?
