Once again, America watches as another cowardly corporation caves under the weight of social pressure before facts are even known. The Atlanta Falcons fired a defensive assistant coach in a flash, mere hours after the team claimed it was still figuring out what happened. People used to believe in due process. Now, an accusation is enough to end a career.
This is what happens when spineless leaders let liberal outrage mobs run the show. Instead of standing strong and gathering real evidence, these teams panic at the first whiff of “disturbing allegations.” The Falcons acted just like any other woke corporation, desperate to protect its image rather than ask what actually happened. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? These days, the left sees allegations as the same thing as proof.
Don’t be surprised. The NFL loves to toe the progressive line. We’ve watched league officials kneel to whatever globalist trends are popular in the moment. Now, when confronted with controversy, the Falcons prove they’ve learned nothing. They buckle to the pressures of the liberal media instead of taking a minute to conduct real investigation.
Every American should be worried. Today it’s a football coach. Tomorrow, it could be anyone who steps out of line with politically correct nonsense. The left is building a culture where people can lose everything over rumors—no trial, no facts, no questions asked. That’s exactly how freedom is destroyed.
Is this what we want for America? Where the mob decides guilt, and those in charge fear angering the wrong activist group? If spineless leadership is the new game plan for our institutions, don’t be surprised when our culture, like the Falcons, fumbles every single time.
