Iran has crossed the line. Again. This time, Tehran’s bullies set fire to the “Skylight,” an oil tanker in the highly strategic Strait of Hormuz. The world watched video of the ship burning on open water. Nobody knows yet how bad the damage is, but here’s what we do know: America’s enemies are getting bolder, and our leaders are letting them.
This is what happens when Washington puts weakness and globalism ahead of American strength. The current administration bows to international pressure, lifts sanctions, and hopes Iran will “play nice.” Instead, Iran laughs in our faces and lights up oil tankers. Do the leftists in charge realize these reckless acts can choke the world’s energy supply—raising prices on American families? Or do they just not care?
Liberals and globalists tell us to “trust diplomacy” and “show patience.” What nonsense. Every time America pulls back, Iran steps in—guns blazing. They know there are zero consequences. Meanwhile, left-wing elites whine about fossil fuels while America’s oil and gas future gets torched, literally and figuratively, by Islamic extremists.
Let’s be honest. The so-called “international community” is tepid at best. Too busy wringing their hands, worried about offending Iran or risking a bad headline at the United Nations. They talk a big game about “peace” and “stability,” but when it comes to protecting real people and real livelihoods, they vanish. If America won’t lead, chaos fills the vacuum.
It’s time for the charade to end. America needs leaders who stop apologizing and start acting. The woke crowd and their European buddies can keep their empty gestures. The world can’t afford American weakness. How long will it take before liberals wake up and realize—when we go soft, Iran plays with fire?
