Crushing rules, endless red tape, and a new era of heavy-handed control over cutting-edge technology. Conservatives know better. We believe AI is the future—but only if we keep the greedy hands of government out of it.
Thankfully, the American Legislative Exchange Council just stood up for common sense. They’re encouraging states to keep AI regulation light. Yes, that means less regulation, lower taxes, and more investment into game-changing tools that could make government do its job—a rare thing these days! Instead of choking innovation, they want states to open the door for American companies and workers to compete and win.
The usual suspects on the left wring their hands, demanding more control. That’s their answer for everything: limit freedom, expand bureaucracy, and let globalist tech giants set the rules. Who gets left behind? Hardworking Americans. When Democrats have their way, you get sky-high taxes, indecision, and outdated rules that grind everything to a halt. They talk about “ethics” just to grab more power and prop up their friends in Silicon Valley.
Don’t be fooled by their scare tactics. The same liberals who can’t run a DMV now want to micromanage powerful new technology. They’re terrified of new ideas they can’t control, so they rush to regulate, picking winners and losers for their own gain. Meanwhile, tech keeps moving faster than government ever can. If we let the bureaucrats and globalists steer the ship, America will lose ground to China and every other nation hungry for leadership and innovation.
Let’s keep America first. Our future depends on real leadership—courage to say no to more red tape, yes to opportunity, and a clear message to the Big Government crowd: Get out of the way. Isn’t it time we asked who really benefits from all these crushing regulations? Because it sure isn’t the people.
