Think about that for a second. The heart of our nation, the supposed beacon of law and order, has become a playground for criminals and maniacs.
Liberals tell us over and over that America’s crime problem is exaggerated, just a talking point for conservatives. But try telling that to the people who witnessed chaos erupt on the highway today. This is the reality of so-called “progressive” leadership: lawlessness spreading like wildfire, while politicians wring their hands and blame everyone but themselves.
Instead of cracking down on criminals, the Democrat elite is obsessed with taking away the rights of honest, law-abiding citizens. They lecture us about “gun control” and “equity,” but it’s obvious their policies have done nothing but open the door for madness like this. They invite criminals in, coddle them, then act surprised when the streets run wild.
This constant drumbeat of violence isn’t just bad luck. It’s the direct result of liberal policies that put feelings ahead of safety and criminals above citizens. Their backwards ideas have made cities like D.C. dangerous and unpredictable. Law enforcement gets handcuffed by “reform” while real victims pay the price.
