NYC lets snowball-throwing thugs off easy as cops get betrayed again by soft-on-crime DAs

Another day, another insult to those who risk their lives in blue. This time, weak prosecutors have once again turned their backs on NYPD officers by reducing charges against a criminal caught hurling snowballs at cops. That’s right—attack a police officer, and the so-called “justice” system rewards you with a slap on the wrist. Under today’s leftist leadership, upstanding officers don’t get the honor they deserve, but criminals are handed free passes like candy.

Liberals love to scream about fairness and equity, but where is the justice for the men and women who put on the uniform? These New York prosecutors bend over backward to protect offenders. It’s no wonder crime keeps rising when the message from the top is clear: disrespect the police, and you can waltz away with almost zero consequences.

Let’s cut the nonsense. When violent thugs cross the line and attack law enforcement—even with so-called “harmless” objects like snowballs—it’s not just horseplay. It’s open disrespect for authority, and it’s a test to see how far criminals can push. Every time these prosecutors lower the charges, it’s an open invitation for more chaos and disorder on our streets.

The left has spent years whining about police “misconduct,” all while ignoring the real misconduct going on in the DA’s office. They side with criminals over law and order, fueled by globalist ideas that undermine American values. It’s as if liberals want cops to feel alone and powerless, just to fit their twisted anti-authority agenda.

If the DA can’t protect our police, who will? When officers have to look over their shoulders, wondering if their leaders have their back, what hope does any law-abiding citizen have? New York’s future depends on strong action against those who attack our police. Anything less is just cowardice—plain and simple.
