The world woke up to another mess in the Middle East after Saudi Arabia’s largest oil refinery, Ras Tanura, was forced to shut down. And why? Because Iran thinks bullying and violence are the best way to shake up the global stage. Smoke pouring from the site wasn’t just a “regional” issue. That’s a five-alarm fire for the energy markets. Why should American families pay higher gas prices just because our so-called leaders let chaos fester overseas?
Here’s the hard truth: this isn’t just some far-away conflict between kingdoms and dictators. When energy production is hit abroad, hardworking Americans end up footing the bill at the pump. Liberals and their globalist pals will shrug their shoulders and blame “market forces.” But the reality is, their weak approach to foreign policy—appeasing Iran, handcuffing American oil, and calling it “diplomacy”—created the environment where thugs can shut down the world’s lifeblood with missiles and drones.
Funny how the left is always quick to judge the U.S. for protecting its interests. But when Iran starts the fires, liberals mumble about “restraint” and “dialogue.” Special interests and radical bureaucrats love to jabber about transitioning to “green” everything. But with American oil production demonized and Middle Eastern pipelines under attack, the world gets more dangerous, not less. America ends up more dependent, not free.
Washington pundits and power-brokers will have their summits and write their sternly worded letters. Meanwhile, the people who actually feel this pain are families living paycheck to paycheck, watching prices rise while our own resources stay locked underground. It’s amazing how every crisis overseas is used as an excuse to take even more power away from everyday Americans, all in the name of “climate” or “stability.”
This attack is what real weakness looks like. Maybe it’s time to stop playing nice with regimes that hate freedom and start unleashing American energy again. Is the left finally willing to face the truth, or will they keep letting foreign radicals pull the strings while Americans pay the price?
