Los Angeles was not grieving. The thousands of Iranians rallying in the streets after Iran’s supreme leader died made that loud and clear. Instead, they were celebrating. From waving flags to shouting in the heart of Southern California, these Americans of Iranian descent showed the world how real freedom tastes. While the liberal media tries to tiptoe around Iran’s bloody regime and ignores the cries for liberty, the voices in LA refused to stay quiet.
It’s no shock this celebration happened in California. Greater Los Angeles has the largest population of Iranians outside of Iran. Unlike so many so-called progressives who turn a blind eye to Iran’s brutal leadership, these folks know all too well the pain and oppression. Thanks to American freedom, they dared celebrate the end of a tyrant—something you won’t see the left-wing elite talking about honestly.
But here is the hypocrisy of the woke crowd: they’ll rally for every flavor of cause under the sun, except real freedom from theocratic dictators. When it comes to Iran, liberals walk on eggshells, more concerned about offending some globalist agenda than standing with immigrants who fled real tyranny. The real backbone of America isn’t at the White House; it’s in these immigrant-filled rallies, where people cheer for the death of evil.
Of course, the Biden administration and its fans in the media won’t give these voices the time of day. They’re too busy writing “thoughtful statements” about “stability in the region” to notice people whose families suffered under Iran’s Iron Fist are celebrating in America’s streets. To Democrat “leaders,” the real threat isn’t the mullahs, it’s average citizens refusing to bow down. The left would rather appease hostile regimes than admit their open-borders policies draw in real victims of evil.
Here’s a simple truth: only in a country as great as America can people dare to celebrate the downfall of a dictator without being thrown in jail. The woke elites want to rewrite what freedom looks like, but they can’t cancel this. If those crowds in LA can teach us anything, it’s that real courage doesn’t sound like a Washington press release—it sounds like thousands of voices booing a tyrant they survived. How long before the left dares admit whose side they’re really on?
