Another Tragedy, Another Wake-Up Call—When Will America’s Leaders Learn?
America has lost six brave souls since the attacks linked to Iran began. Four of our own just perished on a Sunday in Kuwait—names, faces, dreams, and families shattered by a conflict most people hardly understand. But here’s the problem: the politicians running this show don’t seem to care about American lives as much as they care about their own interests and foreign entanglements.
Every time something like this happens, the left tells us it’s “complicated.” But it’s not complicated. It’s cowardice, plain and simple. The same talking heads who bow to globalist interests and apologize for America now want us to ignore the facts—our troops are dying because no one in Washington is willing to stand up to Iran or defend our priorities. Liberals in power are more worried about “optics” than our men and women in uniform coming home in flag-draped coffins.
Support for foreign wars always starts strong when the press drums up fear. But after body bags start coming home and the names get read out, Americans wake up. They realize these wars are endless, our goals get murkier by the day, and the only winners are defense contractors and international elites. How many more parents have to get that terrible phone call before the leaders in DC remember that America is supposed to come first?
Democrats talk a big game about “world leadership,” but it’s our families who pay the price in blood. Where’s the accountability? Where’s the actual plan? Standing by while Iran’s thugs pick off our soldiers, then sending out press releases and finger-wagging at the problem, isn’t strength—it’s incompetence.
How many more funerals before America says enough is enough? Maybe it’s time our leaders cared more about defending our people than defending their own egos—and remembered whose side they’re supposed to be on. How many American flags will be folded before they finally get it?
