China Ditches Iran When It Matters Most and the Left Still Falls for It

China loves to put on a big show about its so-called “special” global ties, but at the end of the day, they care about just one thing—themselves. Iran thought it was going to get the deal of the century with that flashy $400 billion agreement with Beijing. Twenty-five years and all that “comprehensive cooperation.” But when the dust settles, what did Iran really get? Some polite applause at the United Nations—maybe a pat on the back—but nothing of real substance.

This is how China plays the game. They smile for the cameras and sign fat deals, but when it’s time to actually step up, they vanish. Tehran can ask all it wants for military support or backup during a crisis; China runs the other way. Liberals and globalists rant about new “alliances” reshaping the world order. In reality, China is only loyal to the mighty yuan. Iran is just a pawn on their chessboard—a pawn that’s not even worth defending.

Let’s get something straight. Democrats and their media lackeys love to act as if America’s rivals are forming this unstoppable united front. “America in decline!” they shout, demanding that we grovel before our enemies. But outside the echo chambers of woke think tanks, these so-called alliances are nothing but empty PR stunts. Behind closed doors, autocracies like China don’t waste a single real dollar unless it puts money directly into their own pockets.

Iran is learning the hard way that handshakes with communists don’t mean help when the bullets fly. Beijing has zero interest in defending some rogue regime in the Middle East. They aren’t secretly plotting in smoky back rooms to rescue the ayatollahs. China is there for one thing: grabbing resources and influence, while offering their “partners” little more than worthless slogans and cheap promises. Guess what? That’s the “new world order” the left keeps begging for.

Time for America to wake up. Playing nice with these so-called global partners is a losing strategy. While liberals are busy lighting candles for “multilateral” deals, Beijing is laughing all the way to the bank and leaving its friends stranded in the desert. Maybe the real question is: When will the left realize that not even China takes their fantasies seriously?
